Personal Information:
Name: KEVIN PATRICK
Contact Info: (Please E-Mail me at Webmaster@KevinPatrick.com.)
Career Objective:
A responsible and challenging long term position utilizing my computer technical
experience, creative/aesthetic design, and/or supportive instructional computer skills.
Computer Experience:
I have had my own home computer system since November 1985. (From a Lisa 5/10 - Macintosh XL, to a Macintosh IIsi, then to a Power Macintosh 7100/66AV, then a Power Macintosh G3/333MHz, to now a Power Macintosh G4 Dual Processor 800MHz, and soon a Power Macintosh G5 Dual Processor 2.5Ghz.) And I have created my own Web Page Design & Internet/Computer Consulting business, CYBER MEDIA DESIGNS, as a side interest which grew from a hobby. Everything on the Macintosh I have learned on my own experiences and research. I love the platform and the elegant simplicity of Apple’s computers. And due to my consulting business, I have extensive knowledge and experience installing and operating various software and device peripherals (i.e. installing Hard Drives, Power Supplies, RAM chips, Modem/PCI Cards, setting jumpers and dip switches, setting up Internet, LAN, and WAN networks, attaching/sharing printers and installing drivers, etc...) to all kinds of computer systems, but mostly for Macintosh systems, from the old 9" Black & White Screen Macs to the latest models. I am also knowledgeable with Windows PC’s, using a variety programs. I can learn any type of computer software or hardware very quickly and I am a stickler for detail when it comes to my work. I have been a longtime user of AutoCAD for the PC (Release 2.14 to 2004) and can program/customize AutoCAD to fit the needs of my work. I also have extensive experience with design software packages such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe ImageReady, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe GoLive, Adobe LiveMotion, Macromedia Freehand, Macromedia Fontographer, MiniCad/VectorWorks, just to name a few. I also like to keep myself informed of new software and technologies by being an avid reader of many computer related magazines, newspapers, and research reviews/articles on various websites.

I advertised my business only once back in 1997, ever since then most of my business has been by word-of-mouth.
